I just purchased a 2005 Expedition 3 days ago, it just started making a loud clicking noise behind the back side passenger pannel. The clicking noise will speed up and slow down....does anybody have an idea on what this could be? Thanks

It doesn't actually stop, but i do notice thats when it speeds op or slows down. I also noticed it first when I turned the air conditioner on...it sounds like someone is yanking the seat belt all the way out...actually thats what i thought it was at first...lol

My guess is the gear that controls the temp of the rear air is stripped. Unless you have really skinny hands, you'll have to take off the quarter panel. Tis a common problem. See the sticky in the General Discussion area.
