Local Lincoln dealership has a used reserve CPO on the lot that is about the same Price as max platinum 4x4 new. It has 23k miles on it.

I think expy is a comfortable vehicle, but damn!!! This Navi is taking that comfort to the next level. As you sit down very first time without making adjustments it just fits. Cabin is much more quieter, headlight much brighter, nice screen...now more tech, more stuff that could break that worries the crap out of me. It is basically same vehicle, but little things like even passengers can have a program seat, active noise management system...is a icing on the cake. But considering all that I am having tough decision to make.

Please bring me back to ford. Lincoln’s forum suck ass. Am I crazy???

I remember watching a review on youtube saying the Navi has not been holding their value very well for the track record, plus is a complete new design with a bigger price tag, for resale value it might not be as good as the Expy? Considering the Expy is cheap enough, there isn't much room to drop compare to the Navi? If its buying for all that nice features in the Navi, I'd go for it, enjoy for a few years and never regret it when it's time to sell. After All, life is too short to cheap out.

Satisfied with my Expedition, but if I could go back I'd buy the Navi.

If you dont mind 23k, get the nav. Lincoln did a lot to differentiate the 2 this go round and it shows. Holistically, its way better. If i could, i woulda, and god willin, im bitin that bullet in a cpl yrs unless a new product comes up thats better. Also, try blue oval forums. There navi thread is one of their most active threads and prolli the onli viable navi forum rele.

Expy Platinum has active noise cancelation too. The 23k miles just shaved off 20% of its value too, and brought you half-way closer to your 40k mile warranty. Just some things to keep in mind.

Is that blue color one you could live with for a few years?

I'd dig deep to see what all was involved with the one reported accident in its damage history. And obviously use that incident to the best of my negotiation ability.

With an accident on the record, I would change my vote. I am never interested in purchasing a used vehicle with accident history...too much stuff that could have been missed, fixed poorly, not fit right, ignored, etc.

(this is a personal opinion)

Great observations. The Navi interior is incredible. My reason for focusing on the Expy Plat is that it offers most of the platform’s benefits while still not trying to draw too much attention. 15 years ago I had a BMW X5 and I always spent as much as I could on the nicest rides. As I get older I seem to like to sand bag my good fortune a little more. I’m turning into my old man! I’ve actually considered debadging the Plat when I finally pull the trigger on one. Regardless, the Navi looks great inside and out.

You’re not crazy! Yeah so the Lincoln forum may not be as active as this one but this one has accepted me and I have the same Navigator you are looking at. If you are so concerned about the tech just get an extended warranty like I did. I opted for the maintenance plan as well and for a tiny bit more you can get their pick up and delivery for that as well.... they literally drive the loaner to your house or wherever you are and switch vehicles with you. Look, my wife said ‘don’t even think about getting that Matthew McConaughey car, we’re getting the Expy, STOP BEING CRAZY.....PERIOD!’ Now she will openly admit to being the crazy one.

We looked at both Expy and Navi and chose the Expy Platinum. The Navi front seats are amazing. But, it was not as quiet as I expected. Also, the rear 2nd row console is so huge, it sucks up a lot of room in the back, making the truck feel not as spacious back there. The Navi dash screen is better, but the dash itself is more car like. To be sure, the Navi is a very impressive vehicle, and we certainly wouldn't mind having one alongside our Expedition. But, if we could have only one or the other, we like our Expy very much.

Navi's are sweet. I don't like air bag suspension tho. Does it still have that feature like the older Nav's do? I think Exp hold their value better. They're more popular.
