41k miles on vehicle. On a trip with rain. Noticed some sort of fresh water on the box under the glove box. Not dripping a bunch but def there. Will have to see if it forms with rain. Anybody seen this before and know why?

Thanks

Posting your year, make, model and type of HVAC (dual-zone?) would help others provide advice.

I live adjacent to Indiana and we have had VERY high humidity and heat. Is it possible you are seeing condensation on the heater box?

You could check to see if the a/c condensation drain elbow on the firewall is clear and dripping?

Ok. Thanks. 2013 Expedition LX. Dual zone AC. I was driving from Very Humid SC to very humid VA. I live right at the OH/IN border.

I’ll check that elbow

One item that works well to clear the a/c drain elbow (without damaging anything) is the non-clasp end of a sturdy zip tie.

The right rear of my 2015 Expedition Limited (with rear a/c) would drain a lot of a/c condensation during humid periods. You may want to crawl under the right rear to ensure it is draining well too?

Best wishes.
