Coolant temperature sensor location

I just did the heater hose shown with the T. Cost like $80 for the parts and was a 10 minute swap. Unfortunately I dont have the part number available

Still no idea where the sensor is located ??

Bedrck47 photo shows it right rear (passenger's side) on the head. Depending on the intake position you might be able to see it between the openings for cylinders 3 & 4. Looks like it will be right under #3 though.

Looks like Ford switched the heads from left to right from the previous gens. How nice of them more work than the previous gens.

Future Readers:
While in the valley inspect that coolant tube for a leak at the o-ring , surface rust / rot. It will be a PIA to do later. It also has a (13mm?) bolt holding it to the back of the head the complete intake assembly has to off. It can be started with a ratchet then finished off with a open end box combo. No clearance between the head and firewall its th a lot of fun (get your swear jar out. Test / Inspect the knock sensor(s) while you're there.
