Here's my questions. When I have the climate control on auto, and have it set down low enough for the a/c to run, should my recirculate light next to the a/c light be lit? It lights when I push the button, but if I shut the car off, it has to me pressed again to light up.

My 2nd question is, it seems like my blowe fan has recently stopped slowing down in auto mode. It likes to run fast, even after the temp has cooled down. Normally after running a bit it would slow down in a few minutes, but now I can drive 10 miles to town and it seems like it's still blowing full blast with outside air temp around 82 degrees. If did seem to slow down when I switched from dual climate to single, but both were set within a couple of degrees.

Not sure if the problems are related, but what should i check into?

Typically, if you have your temp set on auto at the lowest (60-65) the fan stays on high. Once set back on anything higher than 65 the fan will/should cycle up and down as the sensor on the dash senses changes in cabin temps. On the older Expy's (I've had a 2001 and 2005 plus the current 2012) the recirc button has to be pushed each time after start up. On my 2012 it remembers the setting, earlier ones don't.

On my 03, I always leave it set on AUTO, and it stays that way even after I shut the engine down and restart the next time.
I always have the temp set at 60 so the fan comes on at full speed but I usually turn it down manually to about 3 bars because I don't like the noise it makes.
