Tried searching but not much came up. well one is the monroe conversion kit to remove the air ride system. anybody know if they are good or not? i can get the full front and rear kit w/shocks for 300 to my door. I was wondering on some feedback for them. another thing. im looking at putting some 33's on the expy and i was wondering if just the conversion with 2" spacers and cranked bars would net me some room for the 33's and not look bad? Oh and will some 33's fit on stock rims untill the new rockcrawlers arrive?
I greatly appreciate all the help i can get.
Thanks

Hi, first things first.
my 99 was converted from Air to springs, rides really well, and no more hassle with ford air ride....a good thing. as for the price??? I dunno, sorry. Am I happy with mine? VERY.

If you are going to buy new shocks, spend the extra money on ones for lifted vehicles like the rancho9000xl, (there are a few more but I see that one a lot) just gives you back a more smoother comfortable ride it's not nessesary.

with a 2" coil lift and a torsion crank (which may only net you .5 inches but up to 2")
you can put 33's on the 16's and 17's for sure

if you want to try something closer to a 34" tire, 16's will work, 17's will be tight maybe rub a smidge.

and yes... yes it will look good lifted, on 33's, on stock wheels...These are Expeditions, they look good in anything. think about it.
