Thought I'd share these crazy repair quotes my sister received at a Ford dealership in North FL. My sister has a 2015 Limited with 144k miles and has noticed some very light oil leaking on the motor as well as continuous AC issues since she's owned it.

Look at this list they quoted her for 3 identified oil leaks and an AC repair...

Valve cover repair: $3,948.
Turbo fittings ( replacements I assume) , $5,672
Vacuum pump replacement , $1007
AC blower speed control, $400
Rear pads and rotors, $600

Those are some cazy numbers! I told her to run away from that place asap.

Been watching videos online for self repairs of the valve covers and vacuum pump and I think I could do that my self. Not sure about the turbos though. But it's those repairs that scare me with my 2017 Limited, 96k miles. I really hope I don't have the same lineup coming my way in 50k miles.

If I were here, you would know it !
AC blower speed control, $400
Rear pads and rotors, $600
Well, I've both of these repairs done at a local shop for less $$....

AC blower was $295, stealership quoted me $553
Rear pads & rotors were $159, since I supplied the (aftermarket) parts, so labor only, (but would have been $657 using their chosen, marked-up parts).......a stealership quoted me $820..

OTOH, a local shop quoted me $860 to replace my serpentine belt & tension arm assembly.....but to my shock, a stealership did it for $525....

go figure :)

I know them. Dealers are always big bucks. With no warranty your screwed walking in the door. I know of one place in Flagler Beach on RT 100, Dels Auto Repair. Not cheap but they can usually fix anything.

The turbos suck but are definitely doable in a driveway. If/when you do the pass-side, do your vac pump at the same time because you can snake your hand up there through the wheel well. I'd also HIGHLY recommend replacing your header with a BD Diesel one. If your header bolts aren't broke yet, they soon will be.
