Did anybody replaced their OEM rotors with Cross drilled rotors ?
If yes, what was your experience. I have to change the rotors soon and I would give the drilled ones a shot...

Not sure you'd see a whole lot of benefit from cross-drilled rotors.

They are nice for racing applications where cool brakes help scrub off speed when entering corners.

I had slotted rotors on my Excursion made by www.appliedrotortechnology.com that were incredible brakes compared to stockers.

I just have a need for larger rotors that have cooling capacity, such as being cross-drilled. My house is up a long, 7% + grade, dirt and pavement road, steep enough that a 2 wheel drive long bed extended cab truck cannot make it up the hill when it snows. 4 wheel drives are no problem but not a 2 wheel drive truck are a a problem. Anyway, we use low gear in the stick shift and automatics when we drive out downhill instead of using brakes but we have still noticed our brakes wear faster than when we lived in town. I think bigger rotors and better brakes would be a benefit for us. Thanks for the link as I lost the link I had for rotors.

Baer has a kit to put bigger rotors on your truck. Eradispeed plus or something, that maybe what your looking for and they seem resonably priced.

cross drilled or slotted is always better than stock. i swap mine out with brembo cross drilled and they made a big difference. now my truck stops a lot easier and smoother. so whatever you do is up to you. i got cross drilled because they look a lot better than slottedl
