What’s the first thing wife says on her new car… Can we remove the “Expedition” lettering? She thinks it looks weird. Brings me back to my childhood days of debadging my WRX. Sooo. Does anyone know if those letters have pegs / holes in the metal? Or are they just 3M’d on. Thanks

I’ve since then replaced my Ford emblem with a black/chrome OEM emblem.

I removed my 24 expedition, Limited and Max name plates the day that I picked it up. They are held on with adhesive tape. The safest way is to use a liberal amount of WD40 and wiggle the letters after 20 mins. or so. Be patient and there will be no trace of them when you are done. You will have wd40 leaking from under your moulding for a while so keep wiping it off. A piece of cake!
