I took my 1999 E.B. Expedition to the dealership to have the air suspension recalibrated, (the rear air bags were staying fully inflated) They quoted me $99.00 annd took her away. Came back and told me the tech was having trouble figuring out how to use the scanner. Came back an hour later and told me it was a stuck solenoid, get back with me on the price, then came back and told me it was the PCM and that was over $500.00 just for the part, I told them that the control module's never go out, (yes, they go out, but its very very rare) and why did the work order have DTC C 1770 on it? and did it have any other code's? he said yes, but the tech didnt write them down, then he told me that they broke a piece and that the air system no longer functions! now I have to go back monday morning for them to fix what they broke. 4 hours later I'm dragging my ass back home, 4 hours at the dealership! &*%#@!!!! Can I take care of a DTC C 1770 on my own? and where is it located? thanks guys!
