DELAY STARTING, but after starts fine

I don’t know if anyone came across this situation it’s that it takes long to start when it’s cold or the first time in the morning but after it starts fine

It’s a 2008 with 5.4 , I have changed the fuel cap , the fuel filter , the evaporator purge valve and the battery _ no change

Try turning the key off and on about 3 times before you try to actually start it. If after the priming it fires right up, it's the fuel pump check valve failed and to fix it you have to replace the fuel pump.

I went through the same thing. Replaced the fuel pump, did NOT help. I lived with it a while and finally replaced all me injectors and it fixed it. 2013 5.4
