Cool experience.
I did my timing at 175k ish, only one tensioner was slightly blown, no noise issues. I did the Melling timing kit with the ratcheting cast iron no gasket tensioners and the HV pump. Don't remember which one. . Sitting at 226k and it still running, trans needs some love now though.
Some friends of ours just traded in their 07 EL when it crested 300K because the figured it was time, they bought it new and it was all original and has never had engine or transmission work, they ever even changed the transmission fluid. . . .
