Your oil faster? I drive between 75-80mph for hours at a time every day. I keep a close eye on my oil level keeping it at or just below the top dot on the dip stick. I change the oil w synthetic every 3500-4000 miles.
Should I be changing it sooner given the high speed driving?

I always thought highway driving was easier on oil breakdown, than slow speed, stop and go driving - or driving that entails numerous cold starts.

The oil life percentage feature will count down quicker with slow speed, stop and go driving. It will count down slower for continuous, highway driving.

You didn’t mention towing at that speed, but I would assume that towing a heavy object would put a strain on the oil (vs. not towing).

No towing, just long drives on highway. That’s how this truck is used.
Previously it was very long drives from Illinois to Florida and back.
Now it’s only across and up and down the state of Florida all day long.
The roads are so smooth that I can just put it on cruise control at 80mph and enjoy the scenery.
