Hello all,
2003 ford expy Eddie Bauer here. Have had the truck for 5 years now. Had to change all the oridinary stuff, other then that, pretty pleased.
Two Questions:
1. The driver side door latch broke, the interior latch is fine, the cable the runs from the interior door handle down to the latch mechanism snapped. I called the dealer, the say you have to change the entire latch mechanism, and $200.00 is a prison rape just for a 2 foot chinsy cable. Called all the junkyards around with no luck. Anyone got any ideas of any parts that will work ?
2. When i first turn over the engine, all the gauges go to max. for about 5 seconds, tach, mph, etc. then after about 5 seconds, everything goes back to zero and settles down. Is this something getting ready to go out ?
any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
