Door lock actuator

OK, not sure if the other door lock threads apply;

2015 EL, 87k miles and little things are starting to go wrong This year I've had to replace a running board motor, water pump, and passenger front door window regulator.

The current issue is the drivers side door power door lock is twitching when the buttons are pressed, but not actually unlocking the door.

Is this likely an actuator issue, or a wiring issue, or something else?

The solenoid is not able to overcome the friction of the lock mechanism. That could be due to either a mechanism problem (maybe as simple as lubing it) or the solenoid could be failing. Either way, once you pull the door panel, it should be fairly obvious.
