Here's a good one for guys. Does anyone make a clear type cover that can go over my drivers side window switches/ mirror control. The reason I ask is the other day it started pouring in the Bay Area. I hate leaving my drivers window up, as I like air, and to keep windshield clear. Water was pummeling my door switches. Can't be good on them or electrics. Something like a plastic cover that is used on computer keyboards, would be perfect. It's pouring rain right now as I sit here. Does anybody make such a thing, or has one of our members made such a thing.

They make something called vent shields That way you can crack the window open a little and keep the rain out

I have vent visors on mine an water still drips in so I make sure windows are up when I am not driving it during rain. but would probably help some an very cool idea with the cover thing. I don't think they exist dough.maybe get creative and make a custom ledge for it.lmao idk how well that would look.probably be a pain in the ass to deal with but could use velcro to hold it on so you won't have to drill any holes in the door panel.

I ordered the door visors today, thanks Tom for the website. I'll bet if you can use that plastic from computer key boards, that might work. The panel with all the window switches pops in. Cut a piece of plastic and try it. Nothing to lose but 10 minutes of time.

You could use the HVAC system to provide air and keep the windshield clear.

True, but I still like outside air. Being part human, part Moose, I'm used to wet weather!

That's for sure, especially lately. I wondered why steam comes out of my ears!
