driver side turn signal side mirror

Ok, so I have a 2005 expedition and only my driver side mirror turn signal is not working, as well as the mirror not operating by the control arm. Passenger side is fine. I have changed the bulbs out, and that did not fix it. I don't see a fuse for only that side, but checked the fuse #2 for turn signals, and it was fine. What else can it be? Please help....

Remove the door panel

Have you tried checking the connection inside the door panel?... Remove the door panel and you'll see the wires coming from the mirror and you should see it half way down the door... maybe its been disconnected.
