Drivers side lights not working

I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer.
The driver's side interior overhead light and the exterior rear view mirror light do not turn on. It leaves the driver "in the dark".
Im wondering if this is just a bulb issue or if there is a circuit issue connected to the 2 lights. Please help

Have you checked all the fuses?

It should also be very easy to pull out the interior bulb and check it.

swap bulbs from the good side to bad side... that way you can tell if bulbs are bad or if it is wiring or fuses

Do you know if there is a separate fuse for the two lamps? Im not sure which to check

It just seems odd that just the 2 lamps on the drivers side would be bad at the same time.

I'll have to take a look at the wiring scematics of the puddle lights and the interior lights. Maybe they are connected. I'll post it up later

FUSE,FUSE,FUSE,FUSE,FUSE, get the ownwers manual out, each light is on it's own fuse. I had a similar problem this week, I thought my headlight was out , so I bought some new ones, not remembering I forgot to put the fuse back in( I was testing all the fuses). Popped a new one in, an WHAMMO!! let there be light!

He's talking about his interior lights. But yea, each low beam has it's own fuse.
