DVD Entertainment system...Does anyone know if the DVD player supports DVDR, CDR, CDRW, VCD, SVCD & XVCD. Please let me know...trying to decide if I want to add this or not.

The 03 Ford DVD plays CDs, DVD and CDRs I believe. They come with 2 sets of wireLESS headphones in the 03 EB.

Not really... the job #1 (early build) expeditions come with wired headphones. According to Ford, your vehicle must be built after February 3, 2003 to be a job #2 with wireless headphones.

I just bought an "03 Expedition with the DVD system. The sales person said that DVD-RWs/DVD+RWs would not work, but the "permanent" DVDs would be OK. I've tried both DVD-R and DVD+R formats in the unit with no luck. Original DVDs work fine, but I'm a bit hesitant to carry our original DVD collections around in the truck. Still experimenting with different blank brands and software. I haven't tried home-built CDs yet... wonder if they will act the same.....
