Dynamic cruise... Noisy brake actuator?

Anyone have a noisy/crunchy pump or actuator noise when the traffic / dynamic cruise is employed and vehicle needs to brake substantially?

I've had no noise issues with the cruise. How substantial is the deceleration? I've only used it on the highway and I never had an instance where an "emergency stop" is required.

Noisy under almost normal braking coming to a stop... Not emergency.

I had a thread on adaptive cruse and it says the noise is normal..

While it is much noisier than other vehicles, it is normal operation of the electronic hydraulic braking system.

Yep. Per the manual: “Note: The brakes may emit noise when applied by the system.”

But I agree it is a little unsettling.

Next improvement... Debilitating measures against cars that try to cut in front of me as I peacefully waft along with my legs curled under me in bumper to bumper traffic. ;-P

Lol...so true, but here in Florida not sure how a computer can account for crazy drivers.
