i saw on the sight they have a "make your own color" kit...i'm thinking of putting this on my mirrors instead of getting them PTM'd...on the fence cuz i'll have to worry about matching the color...

I just did some interior pieces and then clear coated them and I love how it looks, to me you get more of an even coverage with this stuff than paint, plus it is hard as hell to have this stuff run and if it does another coating and it is fixed.
Here is what I accomplished so far.... (not a great shot of the painted wheel)
looks like you have major over spay on the lower valance. Looks good though. I want some one to off road with it first to see it durability.
I just used a basic CLEAR ENAMEL for PLASTIC , got it from Home Depot when I got more PD.
I am pretty sure the exterior wont hold up well to off roading, my 5 year old son climbing in the back of my truck today stretched it on the back bumper and tore it with his shoes, he did have shoes with ridges all over but still, not good for high traffic area, however I have had NO problems on the wheels anf through car washes and my pwn washing.
I would assume he used some kind of blade
How did you spray the wheels?
When I pull off the tape it peels around the tip ridge.
I had the same problem on my fender flare, that's why I ended up just peeling it all off. I was hoping a blade would work.
I had one fender snag when peeling off but alll the rest were fine, use a razor blade just dont drag it hard, alsmost cut like a pushing motion not dragging. My fender flares are holding up awesome!!!
