Received the used Edge Evolution programmer yesterday. Formerly used on a F150. I loaded the software and went to the web and updated it. I remember seeing a note somewhere that when I connect it to my 98Expedition it might take up to 30 minutes to update the on board computer. It quickly went up to 94% complete and seemed to stall there. The screen reads "Updating do not turn off power". It's been approximately 1 1/2 hour this way. Is this to be expected by changing vehicles or should I unplug it, wait 5 minutes or so and reconnect to start the process again? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

usually you DO NOT want to disconnect it when its programming since you can lose your stock settings.... I would contact edge customer support to be safe....

I called back to Edge and all I could do was leave a message. I'm afraid my Expy may be stuck in the middle of the driveway until Monday. Not good!

SOLVED!!....I finally disconnected it at the obd port, waited 10 seconds, and reconnected and it took off. Got it all programmed and drove it to check it out. Everything seems to be fine. Now to just see how much my mpg goes up. Time will tell. Thanks for all the support.
