Engine shimmy

08 expedition Ltd engine shakes almost in sequence with my AC compressor cycle. Had EGR valve, motor mounts and tensioner changed with no results. Next thing is going to be compressor but any ideas what else it could be?

Replace the little 1/2" elbow air hose on the passenger side, near the engine wall. If you put your finger under it while the engine in running, you will likely feel the hole from rubbing on top of the valve cover, the engine will smooth out.

I had it happen in two different V8 models.

That's such a specific solution that I simply have to stick around to see if that fixes the issue

You have any DTC codes off the OBDII ? Might be worth smoke testing the intake system for vacuum leaks like Jeff was alluding to.
