My plan was originally to have duals after the muffler coming out both sides behind rear tires. After looking underneath there doesn't appear to be enough room unless I lose the spare. My question is has anyone done this with an exhaust exit out both sides w/o removing the spare from underneath the vehicle?

Also if just replace the muffler would a tuner help at all since it'll still have stock cats and the 4 o2's?

The only way I have seen it done on 2nd gens and newer is by going underneath the rear suspension as opposed to over it like what would be done on a solid axle truck. Here is a link to a thread with the only guy I have seen with it done. Look at his sig.

well I guess I never considered that route. That is an option but I really like exhausts tucked up out of the way. With new pipes it doesn't look to bad there. Thanks for the link.
