Expedition Blocking RFID?

I have two RFID devices in my 25' expy. One is for the carwash i belong to, the other opens the gate to the neighborhood. Neither of them work on this 25' expy. Have any of you noticed this? Any idea on how to get around it?

Yes. It's by design due to the windshield's UV coating that unintentionally blocks RFID transmission. There is an area intended to place RFID devices.

Well hot damn. But…..one of the stickers is on the outside of the windshield.

I put my EZ pass in the area to the right of the mirror… Car wash gave me a card to use - hold it out the window. I still have to try holding it in that area to the right of the mirror.
