Expedition INFO PLEASE..???

I have an 02 EXPDN.. Something is seriously lagging or hesitating when i put in to drive. I have to throttle more so than usual. Is my trnasfer case giving out..?? Low on Fluidz...?? When i switch to 4wd there is even more hesitation when i hit the gas.. I juss bought this thing a few weekz ago. Local Ford Dealership wantz 120 buckz juss to plug it in.. Any help or suggestions would be seriously appreciated

Have you checked your transmission fluid or transfer case fluid? Is the check engine Lt on
