Hopefully this is an easily answered question. My right rear tire is wearing significantly more on the OUTSIDE edge than any of the other tires . Im thinking if it was the hub or bearing it would be wearing more on the INSIDE edge of the tire. Tire pressure is maintained at around 45. I pull a trailer 24/7 with this truck in the 3k-5k weight range. This is the 2nd new tire Ive put on this wheel location and Ive maybe got 5k miles on the new tire and it is already down to the belts on the outside edge.

Bearing? CV Axle? Are these trucks made to be aligned on the rear wheels???

2011 Expy 4wd. 160k miles.

If I were here, you would know it !

Well, AFAIK, virtually all 4WD, rear-wheel drive vehicles benefit from 4 wheel alignments to keep the suspension in good working order, as well as the tires....

For my '011, which I bought in early 2020, I've only replaced the tires once, at which time I also had a 4-wheel alignment and a road-force balance performed, and after a year of steady driving (~20K miles), the tires still look real close to new...

But OTOH, I don't tow anything and keep my pressure at a steady 36psi, so there's that..

Apparently something else is wrong with some part of your suspension, most likely the shocks & wheel bearings....so off to the shop you go !....:D

The Gen 3 Expedition has an independent rear suspension meaning yes, they do require alignment on the rear wheels.

Rear alignment definitely does get set in the factory. I can't remember which characteristics - maybe both toe and camber? I would think if it was a camber issue you'd be able to see it comparing left vs right. Maybe toe is your problem. And maybe it's a worn component resulting in mis-alignment... control arm bushings, ball joints?
