So we know that the Expedition shares the F150 platform and that some of the Tremor's parts are massaged F150 Raptor/Tremor items.

That being said what would be the first step in converting say a hidden winch bumper into an Expedition Tremor?
Would any of the suspension parts cross over? I know the Expedition has independent suspension on all four corners, but it makes me wonder what could be lurking in the Ford parts bins that might be useful?

Thoughts?

They don’t share a platform. Anything expedition will be organic to….expedition.

I thought the Tremor was on the F150 frame and from what I've read the skid plates and the running boards are reworked Raptor units. I know the lower fascia on the Tremor and the F 150 are very similar in appearance. Granted from what I've read the F150 hidden winch is only available for the 5.0 as the Ecoboost needs that hole for the CAC.

I can say with certainty the "diaper" skid plate is transferable. I moved my aftermarket metal plate from my F150 and replaced the silly cardboard plate.

Pretty much anything that attaches to a raptor engine will work… air oil separators, most intakes etc.

That's what I was wondering, how different are they under the skin? I am half tempted to take the bumper off and see if an aftermarket F150 bumper would bolt up. If there were rock rails made for a SWB F150 would they be a direct fit on a Tremor? I know the suspension is unique but my instincts tell me there is more in common than people realize. The issue of course is that on nearly all other trims on the Expedition off road capability isn't really a priority. I would love to ad a 1.5" to 2" lift to make room for 35s on the stock 18" wheels. Add a 12k winch preferable tucked away and even replace the running board with something like the powered and lighted rock rails from Rockslide Engineering. There is a lot of potential for this rig to become really capable, but the parts just don't really exist yet.

Here is a 2018 Limited that has been built up and it's on 37s and looks fantastic!

This guy at Kingdom Overland was able to bolt up a Factory F150 Raptor bumper to his 2018.
He mentioned in the video that there is a relocation kit for the Raptor to relocate the CAC for a winch install.

So it seems that a lot may be possible from the F150 market.

Well we now know that the Raptor engine cover and Cold Air intake for a Raptor are a direct fit,
I'm sure that there are more parts out there, just need to be brave enough to try them.
