Anyone try the f150 4600s? I know they are a little longer and curious if anyone has experience with them. Or just go with the 5100s?

4600s and 5100s are the same valving.
The 5100s allow for adding some lift.
The 4600s don’t they require a spacer if you want lift.

The question is if you want lift do you want a spacer lift or leveling lift?

Im trying to figure out which kind of lift will avoid uca rubbing and give me the most life out of my suspension. Its got 305k miles and I have no idea what condition the suspension is in. Tires are pretty new so im not going 32-33" any time soon but Im guessing struts are due maybe coils too. Ill have my mechanice check for slop when I get an oil change in a couple months.

I want to put a hidden winch in or maybe a bumper like Aces has at some point. I know that will affect the height a little.

5100s you will need UCAs.
Lots of folks on here running spacers with OEM UCAs and no issues.
At 305k I’d be doing balljoints and new endlinks as well.

What year do you have?

I would do Expedition spec 4600s and spacers.
Have not seen anyone on here with spacers that had to have UCAs.

My 5100s need UCAs and the BDS I bought don’t seem to play well on initial install.

Think I need new strut coils? I wonder how good the moog strut assemblies are instead of buying shocks and coils and then assembly cost too...
