Factory subwoofer location?

My 08 Expy Eddie Bauer 4x4 should be here tomorrow, how do I know if it had the factory subwoofer? Where is it? Previous owner didn't know. I'm trying to buy the correct harness for installing an aftermarket radio, thanks!

Owner said that there is a small rectangular screen in the back left, I guess that means I have one? I thought that was just a speaker he was describing, I guess I have the subwoofer! Here's a pic for reference, is that the sub?

if that is a speaker, and not the cabin air filter, then the subwoofer should be behind the panel. if you can find my expy teardown thread then it will give you a rough idea of what im talking about. i have a 2001 so mine is on the opposite side but if i had to guess it should be located in the same area, just on the left instead of the right.
