Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W

I always buy a set of BF TKO for fall hunting and winter use. They don't make them in 22's for the Expedition. Does anybody have any reviews on this tire?

Had those on my Wrangler. Were great. Triple peak rated. Did great in dirt and snow. Relatively quiet on the highway. I’d buy them again.

They are awesome.
Have not had snow since I have had them but they do great on road, off road, and in heavy rain.
Surprised how quiet they are for as aggressive as they are.

Awesome. Have had them on my 2003XLT for past 2 years. LT for deeper tread depth. Great in snow and quiet.

My 2014 has Kumho Road Venture - also nice but will replace with Falken nice tires when time.

My buddy just walked between my two Expys and said "Geez you have some tread on here".
They have been called out several times!

I haven't used the newest version of the BFG AT but I have an extreme dislike for the previous generation of BFG AT and think anything is going to be better than those (yes, I have owned many sets and hated every one and kept returning to them because the internet said they are great).

Anyway, I haven't used the Falken's but have several friends that have and really like them. They will be on my short list of options for the expedition. Other than deeper mud the Falken should do almost everything you would want out of a tire. My friends have even gotten a lot of miles out of them on their trucks. We don't get a lot of mud in Utah, so mud usually isn't a big consideration when picking AT style tires. Desert, rocks, and some winter roads are what we see most.

I am not quite ready to put the new BFG on my list yet. The new Goodyear wrangler ultraterrain AT's look nice but I doubt they have a 22" version of that one either. I suspect there are not a lot of 22" options out there. The Toyo AT2 is a nice tire and is available in some 22" sizes. I had those recently on my jeep commander and really liked them, great all around tire.

I doubt the BFGs would do any better in the mud than the Wildpeaks.
I had them I some pretty good mud and they clean themselves very nicely.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the BFGs are great tires and we’re dead set on putting them on the Expedition. Have a few buddies that run them and are happy for the most part. But all will likely going for Wildpeaks next go round.

and when I bought my Falkens … I did it with TireBuyer, and had them shipped to & installed at a Goodyear shop down the street (they are well run). I got the tires at a good price … think the delivery was free … deal on installation … $100 Falken rebate … and I think TireBuyer even gave me some other rebate/incentive. I ordered the wrong size by mistake and they were delivered the next day and replaced with the right size the day after that. Very economical for what I got!

I don't see 22" list for the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W either. I've been looking for a good A/T tire as well.

Never priced 22s. $340 a tire for ATs. Not seeing Wildpeaks either.
Nitto and Toyo seem to be it. Guess that is the Lord speaking.
20s and up for AT is kind of silly.
I paid $820 installed for my 33” 18s.

Had them on my truck before I traded for the Expedition, loved them. 10 ply so they were heavy and definitely slowed the truck down but rode so much better than the passenger tires that Ford puts on the new trucks and 20 inch wheels
