We just picked up our new '09 EB EL - number three since buying our first new one in '98. The first two were EB 4X4's and the latest is an ED EL 4X4. We generally trade at about 75K, but drove the '04 87K. With the exception of one transmission rebuild and replacing front-end seals (both items on the '04 @ about 80K), our Expeditions have given us good service with very few issues either in or out of warranty. The '98 pulled a 25' travel trailer on two trips to California and the '04 pulled our 19' Bayliner to and from a local lake through last summer. The '04 also made many many trips to the Oregon coast for weekend, summer, and holiday stays at our beach house. Hopefully the '09 will give us as good or better service as the previous two - so far we love it and are enjoying all of the new bells and whistles along with the extra length -- more room for our Golden Retriever who goes every where with us!
