I need to replace the fan shroud on our 06 and apparently there are 2 options, a one piece shroud and a 2 piece. I like the idea of the 2 piece for easy removal when needed but I have no idea if this rig came with the one piece or 2 piece and if the 2 are interchangeable. Anyone have some insight?

do you need the fan shroud? I mean there would be so much more room under the hood without it.

You need a shroud unless you switch to electric fans. Kiss your A/C goodbye and probably overheat at a stop.

I recommend a 2 piece shroud. No need to remove the fan to get it in and out.

AC blows plenty cold and no issues with overheating but summer is coming still. I'd still rather have the shroud on there though, didn't have any luck finding a used one so may have to go new OEM.

Anybody happen to know the dimensions of these 4 bolts? I have a whole bunch of spare bolts for various vehicles but as luck would have it I have no bolts that will work. I ended up ordering the fan shroud from an OEM supplier but forgot to order the bolts as well.
