Hi,
I have a 2018 Ford Expedition Max XLT. Recently ran into problem with the sunroof not operating. It would try to move - but would not open or vent. The sunshade would only slide either half open OR full open and would not fully close. Took to Ford dealer and got an estimate of around US $ 4500-5000 mentioning the whole track needs to be replaced which was huge for me and hence decided to DIY. After doing research - found the broken pieces in arms - and also found broken cable part which makes it the worst case scenario. Luckily able to find some good videos on youtube posted by some of the folks guiding how to do it. Finally came to a point where looking for some confirmation before i start taking the rail out. If someone knowledgeable can help - i would really appreciate the help.

2. Do i need to drop the entire roof inner part to install/ replace this as shown in video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgHxdgTBYnQ&t=349s)?
3. Anybody knows a video showing how to take apart the expedition roof apart? Most of these videos are for F150 versions. Would be more comfortable if there is one showing dismantle and reassembling for expedition.
It was off the guide/ track. On removing noticed its broken at its base. The arm had few broken items too.
