FDRS downloadable files

I need to update the DDM and PDM for my 2018. Can I download the files after purchasing the 2 day FDRS $50 so I can flash them using Forscan?

Yes. That is the correct way to do it if you do not have a proper FDRS cable. You cannot trust FORScan to pull the correct files on its own, but it is very capable of flashing the firmware if you have a good source for the files.
