Re: 3 week old 2019 FX4. When I crawled under my truck to install new LED headlights and fog lights bulbs, I found out there was less room than I expected between the tires and fender wells. It wouldn't have influence my buying decision if I had known anyway. I'm very happy!
Some of the ranches out in West Texas has mud that rolls up on tires like thick glue. Not to go into to much detail but it gets packed into the fender wells to the point the wheels have to be removed to scrape it out. Getting stuck is not a major concern. I installed 275/70/18 KO2's with a leveling kit. I had Bilistien 5100's on my Armada along with the leveling kit and got a extra 2" out of the shocks. I don't know if that is a viable option on a Expedition. I want to keep it as stock looking as possible but still be able cope with most of the conditions. Are Bilstein's a option?
