Finally going to lift it

thats what i was afraid of i want to do a full suspension 5 or 6 inch but the wife says thats too tall she will only let me do the 2-3" but she still wants 35s... i dont want any rubbing soif she wont let me do the 6" shes only getting 33x12.5r20's she wont off-road the truck but i plan on it. and i hate rubbing..

I was thinking of trimming a piece of rubber to fit on the spacer between the spring and spacer just to keep metal to metal contact down.

just a tip that has worked for me on other projects. wrap the top coil with electrical tape. its always held up for me and reduced metal to metal noise.

my tires rub on the frame and front sway bar. no where near the body thanks to the lift. and they rub on the frame because im on stock wheels. Thermo, if i bought some 8" wides with 4.5" of BS could I eventually move up to 37s with some trimming of the valance and running boards?
Im not nuts about the whole hammer to the firewall thing...
Also if I switched to standard tbars with Torsion keys I could get at least another 1" out of the front. I wouldnt lift the rear any more though. What do you think about wheel spacers?
