I just purchased a 2021 XLT and the previous owner must have removed the running boards, so I am looking at options. I found one thread that mentions universal compatibility across the last few generations (but not across standard vs max). I’ve also found in the F150 forum, that Expedition boards will mount to F150’s. I’m most curious if anyone knows if that goes both ways, if F150 boards will bolt up to the Expedition? I would have assumed they would, but I’ve found limited comments saying that they do not. There seems to be tons of F150 take off running boards cheap in my area (West MI) which is why I ask.
