I just put a glasspack on and deleted my resonator, SEL started flashing, saw in manual that the light flashes when standard emissions is exceded. Hoping thats what it is. Anyone else experience this?

In my experience, it flashes when you get a misfire. I always thought it was just because it wanted me to do something ASAP, but it makes sense that it would be emissions related as well. Misfires cause excess fuel to be put into the exhaust. That being said, I have had a glasspack in place of the muffler for almost two years now with no problems. I would go to an autozone or O'reilly's and they will let you borrow a code reader for free. Post back the codes that it shows.

Ok i will never go back to autozone had to literally explain to them that he glasspack i wanted was bot by flowmaster magnaflow or a turbo but i have access to a computer at my school and ill hit that up as soon as possible, i know i have a bad knock sensor but i dont care about that and in my experience with misfires i could hear them and i dont hear one in my engine could the vibration from the glasspack not being fully welded on scare the computer? i do have it welded on fully now but have yet to hit the speeds that made it flash it was round 45-50 mph
