I previously posted about this as well. I took a crummy video. But in the right conditions, mine easily flops up and down 2 to 3 inches. I get the need to save some weight, but this could easily be remedied with some better bracing or structural support.

Was it still under warranty? That's a factory defect. For long term effectiveness, you don't want to just use any plain old glue. That stuff is an expanding mastic made specifically for aluminum (among other materials).
No it’s not under warranty now, it was something I was looking at the other day while I was installing a catch can, changing the oil and cleaning out the inside of my intercooler. It’s always something I noticed at highway speeds but it really hasn’t been on my priority list to look at.

You may take it in anyway, and see if there's anything the dealer can work out with Ford for you. It's hard to characterize hood mastic under warranty, I think. Is it bumper to bumper? Paint/corrosion (different warranty period)? Drivetrain? Something else? I'd seriously push the issue if you have the time and wherewithal.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO FLOPPY HOOD:

OR: position wedges or shims between beam/gusset and hood.
