Fog light switch mod

My Expedition has the light switch where you can only turn on the fog lights when the headlights are on.
Is there any mod I can make to the switch to be able to pull it to turn on the fogs with the parking lights? Or is there another Expedition or F150 with a switch I can swap in order to do this?
I want to avoid running a separate switch.

It's not in the switch itself, its in the way it's wired. The fogs probably have a relay that is "enabled" when the headlights are on. If you can get a wiring diagram, you can switch the "enable" wire to either the parking light circuit, or just to always be hot (or ground, depending on how it's wired).

OR, you can just install your own relay and unhook the factory wiring from the switch. You would be running new wiring, as if you were running a new switch, but just using the factory switch.

you can modify the light switch. any number of expy/f150/etc sites have the how to. this is a relatively old and well known mod. do a google search.
basically, you cannot turn on your fogs because there is a dis-abling ramp in the switch itself which prevents the fogs from being pulled out/turned on except when the switch is in the headlight position. by taking the switch apart, and with a dremel tool, you can basically grind down the ramp, thus enabling your fogs to be turned on with markers.

Wow, I had no idea they put it in the switch. Sorry for the mis-information.

Not too much, 98. I think that doing the "Bambi mod" (folding over and grounding out one of the pins for the fog relay, possibly number 5) will let you run your fogs whenever, even with your high beams.
