How is the option for Ford Connectivity Package (One-time purchase – 7 years)*? Is the WI-FI reliable? Google Maps and Turn by Turn reliable? When you do have issues with it is it easy to resolve. Do you call someone?

I have a Chevy WI-FI and is goes out a lot, especially when we need it. On star not the best for us?

I've never used it, but I think the system goes through AT&T, so it should work where your AT&T phone works. I think the data cap is like 50GB before it throttles a month.

I ordered the one time 7yr option with my unit. In Canada they use Bell which is our largest and most reliable network.
I have a friend in Mass who has it on his ‘25 and he’s said that it has worked well and been reliable for him.

If I were here, you would know it !
Your connectivity, and therefore your wi-fi reliability will depend greatly on where you are located, what provider you use, as well as the terrain, distance to towers, ect...just like on your cell phone....

Unless of course you have satellite service, which can be either better, the same, or worse, depending on a lot of the same criteria...

Note that I have the "connected plan" on my Acadia, which mostly connects to AT&T, but automatically switches to the next strongest signal, has never failed to give me really good, reliable wi-fi connections in over 5 years, from the mountains of PA & Ohio, to the beaches of VA, NC, SC, and Floweeda :D

Never had any issues with mine so can't comment on the support side. It's about as good of an implementation of "connectivity" I've experienced, but I will caveat that by saying I have not used Tesla's interface.
