I have the connectivity package in my 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum. Is it true that the Satellite layer/view is not available in Google Maps without being tethered to your phone? I'm being told that Google does not permit that feature in the head units software. Is this true? Seems odd since its powering live traffic for Google Maps and cloud-based voice processing for Google Assistant and Alexa.
