Whats up guys....and girls if any are out here. I must say that I truely enjoy being on this website, a member of this forum. I enjoy it so much, that my wife is feeling like she's being ignored because I'm on here. Why am I in trouble when she talks on the phone all the time. Not a problem for me...thats when I get the laptop and get on the forum. But I'm wrong for being on the forum reading and posting comments for 3 hrs while she's ON THE PHONE!!! Anyway...I've stepped it up a notch...now I'm on the site at work. Helps me with my stressful desk job. Instead of taking cigarette breaks, I take forum breaks. Found myself getting upset when there wasnt any new post earlier today. LOL...

So thank you, to all who participate on the forum and for those that give advice of how to fix our problems or just give information on what we think is a good idea...most of the time...its not.

dgray69, are those M/T classic rims on your Expy? I just traded for a set of Classic I's. They are 16x8, and need buffed out BAD. What do you use on them to keep them shiny and what size tires do you have? I am doing the torsion crank and 2" coil spacers in rear. I am thinking I can run 305's max. I am not scared to cut the front fender corners a little or crank out the steering stops. I have a 98 EB by the way.

nope they aren't classic I's... they are made by "Pacer" company similar to American Racing Baja's... they were the original rims on my expy before I sold them to him.. they are 16x10... they are shinny cuz he sanded and painted them.... they were pretty pitted and bad.... I can't remember the size tire I think 305 something... like a 33" baja claw that I found him on craigslist by my house.... damn I find him a lot... guess thats why he is my mechanic... roflmao

I am the same way. My girlfriend is always mad about how she doesn't get attention because i'm on my laptop. I'm kind of worried about her coming here and being with me, if shes always over I think its really going to cut into my forum time. Not looking forward to it.

I already have the 2" spacers from Fatbobs. We worked out a deal on my Suzuki coil spacers for Expy spacers. I actually traded the rims for a 2" body lift for a 94 Explorer that I made. I love getting stuff w/o spending any $$. Now I just need 33-16's for free and i am all set. I do have the factory 17's with new tires i would trade, anyone??

i like this forum. helped me out a lot and i know ive helped or at least put my 2 cents into some topics. i remember b4 i joined i saw this black expedition with a lift, cb ant on top and 4 lights on top and all this work done to it. but it was going the opposite direction on the freeway. sure enough it was nvycrmns. you meet new people everyday and sometimes in the cyber world. o and i just like getting stuff for cheap. like my 130 watt kcs for $75. usually over $300.

Bhsoulja -- I just realized that you're in Hampton. Richmond here. Grew up in Va Beach. Nice to see a fellow VA member.

I haven't made the plunge to the Expy just yet, still shopping and figuring out budget. Currently in a '99 V8 Explorer that I've had since '02. Just got married, time to upgrade, and luckily the new wifey is all for a newer Expy. I'm pretty excited. Joined this site (been a member of Explorerforum.com for years) so that I could learn a little more prior to my purchase.

I too have serious forum addicitons. Explorerforum saved me thousands in repairs and numerous headaches. I'm hoping to get the same out of this forum.
