I don't recall seeing any but has anyone relocated their front license plate off to one side of the bumper? In Maryland we are require to have a front plate. The center location really blocks the intake for my heat exchanger and I imagine it would work much better with the license plate was out of the way.

Or does anyone know what kind of kits may be available to do this?

mine doesn't have the front mount and since NY is required to have front plate I drilled holes into the bumper and installed it... a lot more secure too... might be able to do something like that...

what is the point of having a front plate anyway...the cops dont run your plate from the front...they stay in the back!!!

something to do with people changing plates. it takes a little more work. and the cameras at street lights. they usually flash your front plate, but now most flash the rear. mine has the bracket, and someone hit it not to long ago so i had to get a new one. and then that one broke. so when i bed lined it i super glued it. and it WAS not going to come apart. and then some ***** ass ***** hit it. idk how! i was 3 feet away from her. and she still hit in the parking lot. so what ever. its still on there. haha but you could also just get rid of the bumper. and build a custom bumper to allow air into the coolers and the plate on the side.

id go with nuts on this one and just attach it directly to the bumper. and panda as far as those camera lights they are useless. they take pics front and back. LA got rid of them since they just mail you ticket and since it wasn't "served" to you by an officer, they have no way of proving that you got the ticket. So must people just throw them away without a penalty. And as they said on the radio here those who paid where suckers.

let me add to it panda. the cameras if they cant see your face and lots of people drive with the visor down they cant prove who was driving the car.they send it the registered owner. and if you wonder what happens if you dont pay they send it to a collection agency.

not sure how it's bolted to bumper on your particular Expy, but if there are 4 bolts attaching it to bumper, can you just mount it with the top two screws into the bottom two? effectively dropping it by that much out of the way? would look better than offset IMO. I hate the brand new F150's with it off to side... it justs looks like someone zip-tied it to bumper..

Its in the photo on my original post. It conforms to the bumper inlet and is actually attached with plastic rivet insert thingys..lol. That was actually my first thought but will not work with the stock license plate mount.

if you have the duckets...get the lower part fab'd/molded up to house the plate...but you have to cautious in the event you run over something...it may tear it...

what about the hide away tailgate for the front??? huh!!! huh!!!
