Hi,

It happen while backing into my drive way. So it is, kind of luck. Driver side wheel turn 45 degrees, the lower control arm ripped frame mount ear. The mechanic claims that the whole sub-frame should be replaced, giving a quote for 14k CAD. Can somebody give advice if it weldable?

Thanks

Wow, this is a 4th gen? That's some serious corrosion too, though I see you're in Alberta so that makes sense. Still, I have an '18 that has been in NY/PA its entire life and it looks, well, almost new underneath. Yowza! I agree with your mechanic, though I'd get a second opinion. $14k CAD is insanity.

It is actually 2020, I didn't update my details. The car is from Quebec. Got in May this year, moved and bought it in Ontario.
