Went out yesterday and started my Expy. Hit the wipers after it warmed up to clear water drops. Wipers came up halfway and stopped. Ran my Hyundai instead, but wife would rather ride in the Expy. Today I used a heat gun until I thought better of it and switched to a hair dryer blowing down at the wiper linkage. Ran the engine and ran heat on recirculate while using the hair dryer. Tried the wipers again and they work. The hair dryer uses the same amount of power as the heat gun, but moves air faster at lower temps. Parking it in a warm garage would have worked, but I don't have one. I never had a vehicle freeze the wiper linkage before.
