I have noticed in the past few months that my fuel economy on the freeway has dropped. It seems like it has been a big drop. I used to average close to 19mpg and now I am around 15-16mpg. Is there anything besides a tune up that I can do to help manage the fuel economy? Chips, tuners, etc??

I changed the plugs recently and the coils were still good. Good air filter and new oil changes every 5,000 miles.

Thanks.

You can lessen the weight of the vehicle. Take out unnecessary items. Make sure tires are properly inflated and wheels are aligned. You might have a misfire that's undetected. Install the Torque app and monitor the misfire counter. There's a post here on how to do that. And buy gas on the cooler time of the day because gasoline is sold by density, not by volume.

Fuel filter change too?
You mentioned new plugs, what gap did you set?
Are you going by the "lie-o-meter", or actually computing miles driven by gas purchased?
