Fuel Filter Tool Size? 07+

I've been searching for a while and am having trouble finding the stated actual size of the tool needed for disconnecting the fuel line to replace the fuel filter.

I want to buy the metal scissor type, but there are two options. One has 5/16 and 3/8, while the other is 3/4, 5/8, 1/2, 3/8. I'm sure if I take a chance and buy one, it'll end up being the other one I need.

I am pretty certain that any auto parts store will have on that is mostly universal for almost all Fords... Basically just tell them what you drive and they'll have the right product for you and they're only like $6 nothing special... I'd tell you the size of ours but it doesn't say it on it, my buddy got it at NAPA and just told them it was for his 07 Expedition and they sold him a universal one that I used on my 06 as well

Even if you screwed up and bought the wrong one, its still an investment in tools which you can add in your toolbox.

Sometime like 2009+ they put them in the fuel tank no? "Lifetime" filter.
