Glass body panels

I have searched a little bit and have not found much. Was looking for fiberglass replacement panels. Specifically front fenders. Thought since there was so many f150s and expeditions out there there may be some but have found none. My guess is that the front fenders must not weigh enough to make a difference?! There are glass hoods available but the stock aluminum hood is pretty damn light.

Does anyone know of any manufactures that have lightweight replacement panels that cater to the early f150's or 1st gen expys? I was just entertaining the idea of lightening the expy with out losing form or function.

Going on the basis that most drag cars use fiberglass panels to lighten them up. Cant give specifics on a particular panel obviously unless I know the weight of each.

I would say fiberglass hoods in general are lighter than steel hoods but the stock expy hoods are aluminum. The hood on my expy is much lighter than the steel hood on my mustang. Don't know the actual weight but have lifted both. They do have really lightweight glass hoods but they require hood pins to hold them down because they do away with much of the structural support.

my steel hood is heavy as hell.... but look on ebay for fenders have seen them... also have seen real carbon fiber hoods before as well
